The '''Magical Empire''' ''(of Heaven and Hell)'' was a faction in [[PrikPack v16]], founded on the north-easternmost of the four terrestrial islands soon after spawn. The original members include Wikaros, and baconpancakes36; later on officergogo rice_fish and SaucyTacos joined.

Magic Empire was involved in the [[Scæþing Punitive War]] and the [[Massacre on Midway]].

== History ==

=== Early History ===
The empire began when baconpancakes36 and Wikaros decided they wanted to be in a faction focused on magic together. Shortly after spawning, they found their way to each other with much difficulty, and established a temporary base on the northern main continent. They soon decided that the area was too ugly and boring for their taste, and began the search for their home.
=== The Search and Supernatural Encounters ===
baconpancakes36 and Wikaros's search for a place to build a base began with a survey of the northeast coast of the main continent. They spotted an island to their liking and attempted to settle it, but were met with many problems. First, they noticed that while on the island, they perpetually had the weakness effect. This difficulty was compounded heavily by the large amounts of shielded Pillagers that spawned there. The weakness effect was eventually attributed to a soft world border mod, but at the time, baconpancakes36 and Wikaros had other ideas. They were convinced that the many creepy noises they were hearing on the island had something to do with it, and their fear was only amplified by the discovery of a structure not unlike the Herobrine structures of the past. Finally, they decided the island was a lost cause and headed to an island directly south, where the Empire would be constructed.

=== The Iron Age and the Punitive War ===
baconpancakes36 and Wikaros constructed a small house with windows that they would live in together for a short time while pursuing small goals like getting a farm, mining, and a small foray into Blood Magic. Eventually, the [[Scæþing Punitive War]] would begin after Wikaros decided to be a nuisance to Kjolt947. baconpancakes36 was not online at this time, and was quite annoyed when he returned to discover his possessions as well as most of the communal house were destroyed or missing. The war had little lasting effect on the Empire, however, and Wikaros began constructing the main fortress and its walls, while baconpancakes36 decided to build his base deep under the fortress.
=== Interim ===
The time to follow was a long bout of peace and progression for the Empire, with officergogo joining, and rice_fish and Saucy_Tacos also joining at a later date. Wikaros constructed the main castle town walls, along with the town itself and a few villagers. He also built his personal house and developed all of the farms and procured animals for the use of the Empire. baconpancakes36 decided to finally delve deep into Blood Magic. He didn't leave his cave or do much else other then develop his affinity for the magic and also constructed a Refined Storage system and multiple power sources for it, accelerating his ascent to power. Eventually his strength was very apparently nearing the realm of the gods, but he kept it quiet. The rest of the members built houses and generally progressed right up to the threshold of the [[Massacre on Midway]]
=== Midway ===
Eventually word got around that jusipat and cflip_ had found a sprawling underground dungeon on the island that they originally used as a military advance point, halfway between the [[Magical Empire]] and [[Scæþing]]. The island soon became desirable for military and resource reasons, and claims were made by both factions. Wikaros enlisted the assistance of bcfoss in constructing a sizeable village in their claim which was just north of the claims of [[Scæþing]]. For obvious reasons, both nations were tense, and these tensions escalated until they finally broke.
=== The Evening of Destruction ===
That tension, as we now know, resulted in the [[Massacre on Midway]], which caused much destruction. The war started off fairly normally. All members but officergogo were online, and there were few casualties. Once baconpancakes36's status as a demi-god of sorts was apparent, [[Scæþing]] resorted to the old ways of [[Dirt Warfare]]. They broke their own terms and brought the battle to the Magical Empire's soil, causing baconpancakes36 to become enraged and unleash his arsenal of explosive charges all over Scæþing Midway and [[Scæþing]] itself. [[Scæþing]] was backed into a corner and resorted to hiding and destroying stuff when they could, being killed on sight by every member of The Empire, but it was too late, as most of the Empire had already fallen to ruin. Saucy_Tacos' house was burned to the ground, many chests were broken, and baconpancakes36's base was breached, with many items, notably his Refined Storsge Drives, going missing. After a while, it was apparent that the war was not going to end anytime soon, so peace talks began.
=== Dissolution and Banishment ===
Eventually, there was a peace talk hosted at the western government building at [[Scæþing]], and it was decided that both nations would dissolve, and that baconpancakes36 was not allowed to involve himself with any belligerent nations or conflict in the server. He banished himself to the far northwest forests and formed the [[Sanguine Coven]], while Wikaros went west and founded Commandery of Cool Mountain, which would eventually become the capital of [[Tianchao]]. rice_fish and Saucy_Tacos went directly north and founded the floating island nation of [[Overhead Sanctuary]]. officergogo's bitch ass never played again.

The Massacre on Midway (otherwise own as its earlier name, Ricky War) was fast paced and intensely violent conflict that occurred between [[Scæþing]] and the [[Magical Empire]] originally over land claims on [[Midway]].

==History==
The Massacre on Midway was preceded by continual rounds of diplomatic escalation between the belligerent nations of [[Scæþing]] and the [[Magical Empire]] which lead to all out war.
===Heightened Tensions===
Tensions began to mount when both [[Scæþing]] and the [[Magical Empire]] made claims on Midway, a valuable midpoint landmass between the nations. Villages were constructed and populated by both factions, with [[Scæþing]] specifically upgrading an old fort from the [[Scæþing Punitive War]]. These claims went seemingly unheeded and there was peace for a few days. Eventually, internal conflicts within the Scæþing Empire came to a head and the faction was teetering on the edge of a civil war. Jusipat made the decision to aim their rage outwards and began planning a war over the claims in Midway to subvert the internal conflict.

===Whisperings of War and First Contact===
Wikaros was informed of the internal conflicts within Scæþing and made an attempt to vote in an election there. When he arrived, he was killed, and was informed that Scæþing was planning on declaring war on the Magical Empire. A few hours passed with small bouts of violence between members of Scæþing, and members of the Magical Empire were informed of the impending conflict, namely baconpancakes36 and rice_fish. The original terms of the war were to attempt to be as non-destructive as possible, and to keep the conflict at Midway exclusively.

== The War Begins==
The Scæþing Republic's forces began preparing on the southern portion of Midway for an invasion of the rest of the island. bcfoss was hired to Scæþing's cause at this time.
=== Scæþing Occupation of Midway ===
Forces from Southern Midway occupied the Magical Empire's city on Midway bloodlessly. bcfoss, Cflip_, jusipat and Kjolt947 then awaited possible counterattack from Magical Empire forces. Mines were laid and stockpiles of ammunition and additional muskets prepared. jusipat, now wartime Scæþing leader then began scouting missions via boat in the ocean between Midway and the Magical Island, spotting and driving off Wikaros' scouting attempt with gunfire.

===Magical Counter-Attack===
Eventually, baconpancakes36 decided to join the server and use his blood magic "flight" to go on a scout run to Midway, where Scæþing was already waiting, with their hired man bcfoss and many land mines on the beaches surrounding the villages. Cflip spotted him landing on the roof of the church tower on the Magical Empire village and decided to shoot at him, landing a few hits, aggravating him to shoot back. Cflip was killed swiftly via enchanted bow and baconpancakes36 headed back to the Magical Empire to regroup and begin preparations. rice_fish went to Midway of his own accord and began fighting without informing his faction until a few minutes later. He was caught and found in the tallest tower in the occupied Midway City but managed to escape. Saucy_Tacos and Wikaros began heading over to Midway while baconpancakes36 prepared a large amount of explosive charges. The Magical Empire arrived to Midway and began battle with Scæþing, namely Kjolt947, cflip, juspat, and mercenary bcfoss. The Scæþing forces relied heavily on the ranged power of their muskets and performed well inside the dense urban environment of Midway City. As the battle contiued though, it became apparent that bconpancakes36 clearly had an overwhelming gap in power over the opposing players and began killing all of them repeatedly, with the help of the others, effectively driving them off of Midway. Meanwhile jusipat, enraged at seeing baconpancakes36's overwhelming "godly" power, and complete lack of respect for conventional military doctrine headed over to the Magical Empire with the intention of reviving [[Dirt Warfare]] via attempting to destroy solely baconpancakes36's belongings to demoralize him. While battle began to die down at Midway, he headed to baconpancakes36's base and destroyed some things and hid his refined storage drives in a chest nearby. Kjolt947 then too followed jusipat over with other Scæþing forces still holding on to the southern portion of Scæþing Midway.
===Escalation of the War===
Soon after discovering Kjolt947 on the Magical Empire's soil, baconpancakes36 informed the faction that the conflict had extended beyond Midway, and chaos not unlike [[The Calamity]] ensued. Both factions destroyed innumerable structures, boating straight past eachother and briefly skirmishing across all theatres of the war. With fire and explosives almost every player's belongings and properties were destroyed on each side. Notably: Saucy_Tacos's wooden house, baconpancakes36's base, Wikaros's base, many town buildings in Scæþing, Fort Scæþing, Kjolt947's house, and many others. baconpancakes36 would occasionally spot and hunt down members of Scæþing as he encountered them during his rampage. Eventually, talks of peace began to be discussed.

'''Tianchao''' (Chinese: 天朝, English: ''Celestial Dynasty'') is a nation on the [[PrikPack v16]] server that was formed out of an economic union between the Commandery of Cool Mountain, New Scathia and Herobrine Industries.

==History==
Following the [[Massacre on Midway]], the two largest nations on the server, the [[Magical Kingdom]] and the [[Scæþing|Scæþing Republic]], were dissolved, leaving their players to spread across the world and form nations of their own. Wikaros established the Commandery of Cool Mountain in the southeast of the spawn continent, Cflip_ established New Scathia from the remains of the Scæþing island, and Kjolt947 moved south of Scæþing to form Herobrine Industries. During this time, the international economy of the server flourished, with emeralds becoming the de facto international currency. The three western nations planned to establish their own currency using constantan coins in order to inflate and control the economy. This economic alliance was called the Western Economic Zone (WEZ).

=== Restoration of Scathia ===
During the [[Massacre on Midway]], Cflip_ stored the Scæþing Republic's disk drives containing all of the nation's goods deep underground in order to protect it. The computer and infrastructure needed to access the items from these drives were destroyed in the war, however the disks themselves remained safe and came back into Cflip_'s possession after the peace treaty. Furthermore, jusipat's iron factory was left intact despite the bombings, and it was rediscovered and restored by Cflip_. jusipat claimed this factory to be his intellectual property and attempted an air bombing, but gave up after several unsuccessful bombing runs and blamed it on kjolt947.

=== Consolidation of the Empire ===
For about a week, the nations of the WEZ had remained relatively dormant and inactive. However, Wikaros began construction of a massive palace, which inspired the rest of the faction to play on the server again. It was at this time that the three separate nations of the WEZ decided to unify under the single nation of Tianchao. Wikaros, who had the title of Heavenly General, eventually declared himself emperor of Tianchao with no qualms from the other members of the faction.

Lengshan, the capital of the empire, became the sole focus of the economy and all resources and attention went into improving the capital. Because of this, the other provinces were mostly abandoned, partly because the nation did not feel ready to defend three separate locations in the event of a war. The forest to the southeast of the palace was completely cleared out to make room for new industry, prompting the empire to expand its claims to the southeastern coast as well as the plains to the northwest of the palace. Due to rapid construction of both the palace and other industrial buildings, frequent trade for limestone and other building materials with [[Lûl]] was opened up in order to meet demands.

=== Tianchao Imperalism ===
As Lengshan developed, it became clear that to compete with [[Lûl]], Tianchao would also need to build a village. At this time, it was believed that the known villages across the world were completely depopulated, however a village located on the west side of the main continent was discovered with many villagers. Tianchao constructed the village of Da Pingtan and began shipping villagers from across the ocean to populate the newly founded town. Another village was also found on a continent across the southern sea, and the villagers from there were also relocated. Nearly all of the islands throughout the seas surrounding Tianchao were claimed, and to the south a villager processing station and vacation spot was built on one of the islands.

The People's Union of the Minecraft Server (PUMS) is a large communist nation on [[Fvonny's 5]], and the single largest nation ever conceived on any of our Minecraft servers, totalling upwards of 9 citizens.
==Formation==
After the astounding success of the psychological warfare against tundra_lord, the many nations fighting him united to create a new communist nation. jusipat discovered the true power of teamwork and found that in gathering players from across the server to work on a common task, great things could be accomplished.
The crown jewel of the People's Union was that of the [[People's Assembly]]. Created by jusipat, it was a large auditorium designed to hold party congresses.
===First People's Congress===
Still in the genesis of the new state, player Cflip_ was defaultly named to the position of General Secretary as per the following of his immortal [[Operation Bonkers]] legacy. Under the urging of jusipat, who wished to form a much more centralized state with defined leadership, he asked General Secretary Cflip_ to call together and organize the first People's Congress. Cflip_ was not very open to the concept of a continued and expanding state under his leadership, and he had no appetite to be named leader once more.

In this gathering, attended by the original founders of the Union; being bcfoss, Wikaros, jusipat, and Cflip_, General Secretary Cflip_ ceremoniously relinquished the position of General Secretary of the Union to Comrade jusipat, who would remain General Secretary and retain and expand the authority of the office until the conclusion of the server.
==External Conflicts==
The People's Union consistently viewed tundra_lord as an eternal enemy, dating back to the infamous days of the [[Niuhai-Kjolibope War]] and the great siege of [[Machinima HQ]]. tundra_lord to be KOS at all times. It soon became clear that no single player could match the metagaming nature of him, after urging from citizen baconpancakes36, General Secretary jusipat ordered all citizens to mute him ingame, and to ignore him completely.
===Expansion===
The People's Union contained four primary 'Soviet Socialist Republics' (SSR). These were in order of admission into the Union: Collinebourg SSR, Niuhai SSR, Litaly SSR, Kjolibope SSR. Unofficially there existed numerous PUMS outposts in the Nether and in times of war; occupied settlements which all eventually absorbed into the Union.
