			During its early days, the inhabitants of the Okanagan simply worked on gathering resources and building infrastructure. jusipat set up a network of windmills to power his basement laboratory, where innovations in automatic mining and energy production were made. ComponentFlip built a slime tree farm to gather slime and compete with Wawful947's efforts to gather slime, while also working towards building a rocket for a future moon mission. Wawful947 spent his time building an elaborate fried egg factory in his home.

Other players on the server were also working on a space program, but the Okanagan's inhabitants were to be the first to land on the moon. ComponentFlip was successfully able to launch the rocket and land on the lunar surface. Unfortunately, ComponentFlip was unaware of the Space Creepers that lived on the moon, as well as the fact that it was night on the moon. He was blown up along with the rocket, and all of the supplies brought to the moon would be left stranded on the surface. This outcome was disappointing for the inhabitants of Okanagan.

			Due to a lack of space to expand the basement lab, jusipat found a remote island in the middle of a nearby ocean and began construction of [[The Fac]]. As progress on The Fac made way, ComponentFlip and Wawful947 also abandoned the Okanagan region and moved into their own large rooms inside The Fac.
