Around this time, rice_fish joined the server and constructed his watchtower. baconpancakes36 was inspired by this tower and set to making a extensive wall made of CastleBlocks completely surrounding the coast of the nation. Most of the labor toward the wall was done by baconpancakes36 and rice_fish, and took many days to complete. While the wall was being constructed, officergogo joined the server and arrived at [[Old Japan]], and Wikaros constructed much of the farmland and infrastructure required to keep the nation alive. When the wall was nearing completion, officergogo would venture into what became known as the Dark Forest and would die repeatedly to the many mobs that would spawn within. The dangers of the Forest only became more obvious when other members of the nation would succumb to the same fate.
