Slee (alternatively called Slê) was a settlement in PrikPack v6. It was founded by bcfoss after he abdicated the throne of Prikington. Slee was famous for it's support (and later opposition) of Techno-God joestanly04, and for it's gargantuan royal family which had a headcount of more than 25 concurrent members housed within the main chapel complex.

Origin

After repulsing a Viking Raid on Prikington, bcfoss abdicated the throne and left the city for a new homeland. The first building constructed was the 7x7 tower that would form the base of the main fortress. Because of poor lighting and the massive distance from any source of wool, early settlement was severely hampered by hordes of hostile mobs. The plaintative requests for everybody to 'slee(p)' gave rise to the name of the city.

Early in it's history Slee shared a border with the ruined LUAS_VIKING_CASTLE to the south, but magical shows of force combined with a lack of plunderable resources eventually managed to drive the corsairs out of the ruins.

Techno-God Period

Lacking resources and power after migrating away from Prikington, Slee initially pursued a policy of appeasement with TECHNO_GOD_ISLAND, fearing what the Techno-God would do when it got bored. The rulers of Slee hosted feasts, allowed the Techno-God to name newborn children (and then 'collect' the child at a specific shrine once the reached adulthood), and generally acting as a subordinate of the Techno-God.

During this time many village houses were constructed for the bloated royal family in order to populate the countryside.

Post Techno-God Period

After Prince Yggdrasil was sacrificed to the Techno-Gods, Slee began to distance itself from TECHNO_GOD_ISLAND, and after two final visits to the abyssal halls of TECHNO_GOD_ISLAND contact was largely cut between the two powers.

Later on, Slee was drawn into a conspiracy against the Techno-God by nobel617, in which Slee would serve as a supplier of gunpowder(?) and OTHER_RARE_RESOURCE from which nobel617 could construct a nuclear device. The device would then be used on the Black Pyramid of Prikington, which was a known supporter of the Techno-God. Despite numerous warnings not to inform others of the plot, nobel617 enlisted the help of JIM_USERNAME, who was a mercenary for hire. After sufficient bribing by Techno-God forces, JIM_USERNAME divulged the secrets of the plot. nobel617 was intercepted while trying to enter the Black Pyramid and was forced to detonate the bomb prematurely outside of the obsidian pyramid.

In the aftermath of the plot several fields outside of Slee were destroyed by Techno-God ICBMs as a warning, and all future plots against TECHNO_GOD_ISLAND were dropped. Slee was forced to allow the construction of a Techno-God embassy on the southern limits of the city.

The construction of a massive colloseum was initiated and completed.
