Old Kratchfield

Old Kratchfield, formerly known as Funguy Angle, then Kratchfield, was a small settlement made by Kjolt947 on Cool Guy Server. It was the second southernmost nation on the server beaten only by Bilestan. Old Kratchfield only ever had one resident and was both unclaimed and abandoned after he moved to Cungasid Sultanate (then known as Daub). It was the basis for Kjolt947's future Create mod projects that would play a big part in the growth of Cungasid Sultanate.

History

Settlement

Very little thought went into the location of Funguy Angle; it was decided quite suddenly as Kjolt947 was at the time struggling to survive in the wild and needed a place to stay. Here, he built a tiny beach house out of palm wood on the shore and later began the construction of a multi-purpose windmill and a factory dedicated to the production of cobblestone and iron. Several crops such as carrots and cabbage were imported from Daub which allowed him to thrive by producing hundreds of cabbage rolls. At an unknown point in time, Funguy Angle's name was changed to Kratchfield.

Rise and Abandonment

Kratchfield was never entangled in any conflict with another nation. Due to this, Kjolt947 was able to progress quite far before growing bored with the settlement. Since most of the cool guy activity was happening up north in Daub, he began spending more time there and supporting Wikaros in the expansion of Jarai than growing his own. Eventually he abandoned the settlement altogether and moved his factories to a new island given to him by Wikaros that was named New Kratchfield. The old one was renamed to Old Kratchfield briefly before Kjolt947 officially became a member of Jurai and the old claims dissolved.
