Canna Cabana
Canna Cabana is the longest-living nation on the PrikPack v17 server, located on a small island off the northern coast of Sahul. It was founded by baconpancakes36, Cflip_ and Kjolt947 on the opening day of the server purely out of necessity for surviving the oppressive kinds and number of monsters. The nation has gained and lost many members over its history, and as of writing is solely inhabited by Cflip_.
History
Founding
The creation of Canna Cabana was never planned, but instead grew naturally as players stuck together in order to survive. In the first days of the server, survival was a struggle due to numerous monsters, hardcore darkness, and torches needing to be lit in order to produce light. After a few in-game days of failure to survive, baconpancakes36, bcfoss, Cflip_ and Kjolt947 stuck together near the spawn area and built a short-lived hillfort that served as the only refuge from the threats of night. This hillfort, however, was still not enough due to numerous kinds of flying monsters, so the players needed to find a new location and find or create an enclosed shelter. They had originally planned to sail east from the beaches north from spawn, but the deadly fish in the water and lack of coordination lead them to remain on land and migrate further north. bcfoss sailed away, leaving only the other three together by spawn. They converted a small natural stone structure on the southern end of the northern island into an enclosed space where they could be safe from the monsters outside.
Winter Gift Era and Hell Breach

The small natural rock that was built upon to create the keep that still exists to this day. Kjolt947 was able to find naturally growing hemp plants that could be crafted into string, thus allowing players to create wool and beds. This innovation inspired the name Canna Cabana, which has stuck to this day. Because this was occuring near the Christmas holidays, the mod Lycanite's Mobs had a special Winter Gift item that would occasionally drop when killing a Lycanite's mob. The winter gifts either summoned a large monster, or dropped a bunch of high-value items such as diamonds or emeralds. Despite the danger, players of Canna Cabana opened these gifts all the time.
During this time bcfoss and jusipat brifly joined the nation. jusipat created a slums-themed apartment building across the river, with rooms for bcfoss and Kjolt947.
