Kaskaran Crusade

The Kaskaran Crusade was a conflict between Kaskara under nobel617 and a Coalition made up of flufyking and bcfoss. Kaskara was bombarded several times and the conflict spilled over into the neighbouring settlement of Tyre.

Background

Rising tensions over the lack of a name for the city later known as Kaskara between flufyking and nobel617 quickly spiralled into calls for a crusade. Under urging from flufyking, bcfoss pledged his support for the crusade. Since Kaskara was an island, naval concerns played a significant role. Crusader forces rendezvoused at the port of Tyre, about halfway across the sea, before continuing north to Kaskara.

Conflict

An initial landing was attempted in the proximity of Kaskara city, but was repulsed by musket fire. bcfoss bombarded the city from offshore using repurposed digging spells, demolishing unfinished building projects but ultimately causing only superficial damage.

Due to mounting casualties and ineffectual attacks, the crusaders were repulsed and retreated back to Tyre. nobel617 chose to pursue, so the crusade spilled over into Tyre. Musket fire was exchanged between two anchored ships belonging to bcfoss and nobel617 resulting in the death of bcfoss. joestanly04, living in Tyre, was offline during these events, and nearly entered the Crusade on the side of bcfoss and flufyking when he heard that nobel617 had used one of his muskets in Tyre. After narrowly avoiding losing his stuff during the fighting in Tyre, bcfoss abandoned the crusade and returned to Heide's Tower of Flame. Fighting continued for a time between flufyking and nobel617 in the form of the attempted looting of flufyking's base before flufyking called off the Crusade
