The Dominion of '''Poitevine''' (/pwat vin/) is a vassal of the Empire, settled in close proximity to the seat of imperial authority, [[Karaz Wyr]]. Founded after its namesake; the city of Poitevine, the Dominion encompasses a huge portion of the Eastern continental mass on the [[Overlords 2]] server. Within its lands have been founded numerous mainland settlements, all being connected by a rail-system running along la Rivière de l'Est river.

The city of Poitevine is disambiguated from the Dominion of Poitevine by the usage of ''Ville de Poitevine'' when speaking about the city itself, or simply ''Poitevine''. The Dominion is simply ''Le dominion'', or the Dominion of Poitevine.
