Dominion of Poitevine
The Dominion of Poitevine (/pwat vin/) was a vassal of the Empire founded in close proximity to the seat of imperial authority Karaz Wyr. Founded after its namesake; the city of Poitevine, the Dominion encompassed a huge portion of the Eastern continental mass on the Overlords 2 server, additionally claiming the île marécage island off of the coast. Within its lands were founded numerous mainland settlements, all being connected by a rail-system running along la Rivière de l'Est river. During its height in the first century, Poitevine was the undisputed industrial capital of the Empire and perhaps the world. Following the Great Rebellion, the Dominion sided with the rebelling factions and the city of Poitevine was destroyed during the fighting.

The Dominion of Poitevine had 4 primary settlements and many land claims:
- Poitevine, being the namesake of the larger Dominion of Poitevine
- Charmon
- Brenlois
- Port-Rivage
Poitevine also claimed the entirety of the Île marécage, a large island off of the eastern coast, though it never made more than a totem with a flag there claiming the island.
Ville de Poitevine
The city of Poitevine was disambiguated from the Dominion of Poitevine by the usage of Ville de Poitevine when speaking about the city itself, or simply Poitevine City. The Dominion was simply Le dominion, or the Dominion of Poitevine.
Vieille Poitevine
Poitevine was one of the oldest continually inhabited settlements on the Overlords 2 server, and many of the old buildings were retained or incorporated into the city. Unfortunately following the Great Rebellion of 184, a huge amount of the city was pointlessly destroyed, and is now abandoned.
History in the Empire
Early Days
Poitevine was founded on the starting day of the server, after jusipat joined both flufyking and Kjolt947 at the foot of a large mountain range. While flufyking would begin to live in the mountains and establish a large dwarf-hold, jusipat and Kjolt947 established what would become Poitevine by building a small settlement on a plateau east of the mountain range.

The Great Rebellion

Poitevine and its neigbouring colonies were destroyed and left abandoned following the cataclysmic rebellion of 184. During the rebellion, Poitevine would deal the severe blow to the Empire by breaching the dwarf-hold though the metro which joined the two settlements. jusipat would go on to destroy and burn a significant portion of the lower levels of the hold, notably burning the storage system of the Empire.
