Dominion of Poitevine

The Dominion of Poitevine (/pwat vin/) is a vassal of the Empire, settled in close proximity to the seat of imperial authority, Karaz Wyr. Founded after its namesake; the city of Poitevine, the Dominion encompasses a huge portion of the Eastern continental mass on the Overlords 2 server. Within its lands have been founded numerous mainland settlements, all being connected by a rail-system running along la Rivière de l'Est river.

The Dominion of Poitevine has 4 current settlements and many land claims:

• Poitevine, being the namesake of the larger Dominion of Poitevine
• Charmon
• Brenlois
• Port-Rivage

Poitevine also claims the entirety of the Île marécage, a large island off of the eastern coast.

Ville de Poitevine

The city of Poitevine is disambiguated from the Dominion of Poitevine by the usage of Ville de Poitevine when speaking about the city itself, or simply Poitevine. The Dominion is simply 'Le dominion', or the Dominion of Poitevine.

Vieille Poitevine

Poitevine is one of the oldest continually inhabited settlements on the Overlords 2 server, and many of the old buildings have been retained and incorporated into the modern city.
