L'Empire de la Citroye

L'Empire de la Citroye was a collection of the pre-existing majority francophone states of le Gouffre pastèque, Melondeau, and La Citroye Souriante united under a single faction. The Empire's authority extended far across the northern portion of the Minecraft Attack server. The name comes from the grand Citroye constructed by perreault22 within his claims.

Foundation

The Empire was founded following the establishment of the Gouffre pastèque and Melondeau as steadfast allies and economic neighbors, in collection with the creation of La Citroye Souriante in the north. The Empire's purpose was to establish a collective security pact against potential threats, guarantee the interests of the Francophone players, their allies, and their continued legacy on the server.

Expansion

During the growth of the Empire's population, the claims of the Empire expanded greatly, making it the largest nation on the server in terms of landmass and players (4) following the destruction of Old Japan. The Empire laid claim to vast swaths of uninhabitable lands and forests that were not maintained nor protected.

War against l'Empire

The war against the Empire and the subsequent siege of le Gouffre pastèque were pivotal moments in its history, it bound the new provinces together in common purpose and identity. Once the war ended and the spoils of war were gained, the Empire would see a long and prosperous period of peace and superpower status on the server.

Sableterre Occupation

Following the Siege of the Gouffre, bcfoss vanished from the mortal realm, becoming a deity by the server admin flufyking. This left Sableterre empty and open to be claimed. Citroye immediately pressed its claim on the island, using a nether portal to quickly get to the island before Shanbao. Cflip_ claimed around the island and tensions began to rise. jusipat warned all citizens of Citroye that war may once again soon break out. At the brink of war, cooler heads prevailed and jusipat gave up the claims to Sableterre.
