This location was chosen for its ideal defensive capabilities, which would eventually prove to be used during the Siege of the Gouffre. The fortress town began to be constructed following The Calamity by jusipat. It was far from any other developed nations which allowed for peaceful development and expansion before Kurokaigen was founded to its south.
