New Antioch was founded following the devastating Siege of Antioch. Player joestanly04 salvaged what little he could from the remains of Antioch post siege and left to aimlessly search for a new place to settle. He then found the ideal location for New Antioch at the peak of a large mountain with a naturally generated floating island near to it.

New Antioch was founded following the defeat of joestanly04 during the Siege of Antioch. Old Antioch was abandoned and New Antioch was founded on a floating island and a large neighbouring cliffside.
History
War with New Japin
See Nuclear Strike on New Japin. For reasons now lost to time, New Japin and New Antioch exchanged missiles during a long drawn-out night. Both nations lacked one member, making the conflict a 1v1. The level and severity of the missiles sent slowly escalatated, with New Japin eventually being nuked by New Antioch, leading to the end of the conflict.
Space Endeavours
Following the conflicts with New Japin, and a split from flufyking on the mainland, New Antioch began research and investment in going to space. Bcfoss volunteered as its first astronaut.
